Honda fails to make impact
But team confident
Feb.16
Honda's new formula one car has failed to make an impression so far this winter.
The Brackley based team is hoping the RA107 can finally carry Honda to a championship challenge, but sources report that the chassis is not quick and the engine may have fallen behind the pace of its rivals.
Engineering director Jacky Eeckelaert admitted that the car is not as quick as McLaren, Ferrari and BMW's new offerings, "but we think we're ahead of Renault", he told the British magazine Autosport.
